Overview

This position is 100% remote and will be based in the United States or Canada. GitLab is looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Sales team.

In Short

  • Execute outbound prospecting initiatives to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.
  • Generate New Logo opportunities and Growth opportunities on existing customer accounts.
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations with target accounts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly BDR-sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity targets.
  • Research and prioritize target accounts.
  • Execute a multi-touch outreach cadence to prospects.
  • Manage and report all prospecting activities in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams.
  • Document and improve BDR processes.
  • Mentor new BDR hires.

Requirements

  • Positive and energetic phone skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage outreach.
  • Proven experience taking initiative and driving projects.
  • Knowledge of business processes and organizational structure.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and prospecting tools.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Previous tech industry experience is a plus.
