Overview

The Business Development Representative will be actively involved in outreach to target accounts, inbound leads, and marketing qualified leads with the goal of gathering Sales intelligence and handling early-stage opportunities.

In Short

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Conduct Sales development best practices using sales automation software.
  • Qualify prospects and set appointments for the team.
  • Outreach to target prospects supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Secure key customer information to identify qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on lead generation strategies.
  • Research new contacts in customer accounts and add to Salesforce.
  • Understand potential clients' needs and pain points.
  • Schedule meetings for Field Sales to further the Sales process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Basic understanding of Sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.
