Overview

We are seeking an experienced and pragmatic Employee Relations Specialist to support a small and high-maintenance team within our organization. This role is responsible for navigating a wide range of employee relations (ER) matters, from performance management to investigations to terminations, while building capability to proactively and consistently address issues within the team.

In Short

  • Manage a portfolio of ER cases including investigations and performance management.
  • Collaborate with HR and Legal to ensure compliance and effective case management.
  • Coach managers on addressing behavior and performance issues.
  • Facilitate training for leaders on managing employee performance.
  • Analyze ER data to identify trends and insights.
  • Communicate findings to HRBPs and business leaders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track ER case actions.
  • Support HR Operations during non-peak periods.
  • Lead special projects as needed.
  • Travel required – up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, with 2 years in employee relations.
  • Experience in performance management and investigations.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Skilled in data analysis and identifying root causes.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
  • Travel required – up to 10%.
