Overview

The EFAST2 Customer Service Specialist II will provide expert customer service for the ERISA Filing Acceptance System 2 (EFAST2), supporting the U.S. Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service.

In Short

  • Provide effective telephone communications with EFAST2 filing public.
  • Deliver clear and concise information to callers.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Work independently to meet performance standards.
  • Utilize feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Escalate complex questions as needed.
  • Document questions and responses using software applications.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM CT.
  • Temporary position until January 2, 2026.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1+ years of related experience required.
  • Ability to obtain Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance.
  • Minimum typing speed of 20 WPM.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Ability to provide unscripted responses.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce or CRM systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
