Vice President, Legal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on VP Legal to manage a wide range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, supporting our marketplace, commercial partnerships, product, marketing, and operations.

• Manage legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Provide regulatory counseling on ticketing and resale regulations.
• Review user flows for compliance with regulations.
• Approve marketing claims and consumer-facing materials.
• Advise on data privacy and security requirements.
• Manage intellectual property strategy.
• Advise the Board on governance best practices.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Partner with HR on employee relations and compliance initiatives.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Law degree and active license to practice.
• 10+ years of experience in law firm and in-house roles.
• Experience in technology, e-commerce, or marketplace companies.
• Ability to manage legal matters independently.
• Experience counseling product and marketing teams.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
