Senior Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Platform Engineer will be an expert in infrastructure and developer tooling initiatives across Gametime’s platform, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core platform systems that support Gametime’s high-scale, cloud-native architecture.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and observable infrastructure across AWS.
• Lead and contribute to Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure supporting microservices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Develop internal tooling and self-service interfaces for developers.
• Define and enforce best practices around Infrastructure as Code and cloud security.
• Participate in architectural reviews and infrastructure planning.
• Mentor and support other engineers on platform architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Proficient with AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
• Experienced with Kubernetes administration.
• Skilled in CI/CD and automation (GitHub Actions).
• Familiar with observability best practices and platforms like Datadog.
