Director of Development - Remote

Overview

The Director, Development is responsible for managing all aspects of development projects from site origination to start of construction, playing a major supporting role during project construction.

In Short

• Manage development for select projects in Fullmark Energy’s portfolio.
• Implement project management tools and processes.
• Negotiate site control agreements with landowners.
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering and finance groups.
• Lead responses to energy storage RFPs.
• Conduct market research in the energy storage sector.
• Frequent travel across the United States.
• Interact with stakeholders and negotiate agreements.
• Manage external consultants and advisors.
• Advance projects through permitting processes.

Requirements

• 7 years of power plant development or project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Understanding of energy markets and pricing structures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong project management and task-tracking skills.
• Ability to assess and mitigate project risks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated and innovative.
• Flexibility to navigate changing priorities.
