Customs Brokerage Compliance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Customs Brokerage Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and providing support to both internal and external customers in a remote work environment.

In Short

• Assist with customs compliance and internal audits for Global Freight Forwarding.
• Provide audit reports and training feedback to compliance management.
• Support customers regarding Customs and Border Protection compliance requirements.
• Develop and run reports for management and compliance projects.
• Track and trend compliance statistics.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Prepare and distribute reports for the TCS team.
• Support TCS team as needed.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm ET.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or internationally comparable degree.
• Minimum of 2 years brokerage experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
• Experience running ACE and FGV reports.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to team goals.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
