Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Freightos, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the excellence of our products by evaluating and testing them to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.

In Short

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate releases through test planning, preparation, design, and execution tasks.
• Design and implement functional and nonfunctional tests, both automated and manual.
• Maintain tests and ensure regression testing is performed.
• Identify, document, and report defects and issues using issue-tracking tools.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for internal processes and product knowledge.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest best practices for QA.
• Work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and bug reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with testing Web-based applications and APIs.
• Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases.
• Experience scripting in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
