Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant at Freestar will assist in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial transactions and reports, impacting client experience by ensuring accurate revenue understanding and timely payments.

• Full-cycle accounting responsibilities

• Reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Bank reconciliations and ledger support

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and/or Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with consolidated accounting
• Knowledge of US payroll systems
• Experience in developing controls
• Post-secondary degree in accounting/business
• Strong customer service skills
• Self-starter with autonomous work capability
• Problem-solving skills in a tech environment
