Accountant - Remote

Overview

The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions and reporting within our Finance team in Limassol, Cyprus. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting key accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and VAT submissions.

In Short

• Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including the timely and accurate preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and process payments.
• Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Oversee monthly payroll and related social insurance reporting.
• Support the team in achieving departmental goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
