Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant role at EcoVadis involves managing financial operations and processes that support sustainable business practices.

In Short

• Book accounts payable and expense claims for entities.
• Monitor and prepare payments for invoices.
• Book bank statements and manage payment records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Clear accounts payable and follow up on open items.
• Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end closings.
• Collaborate with external accountants.
• Assist with ad hoc financial requests.

Requirements

• 4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Polish and English.
• Educational background in accounting or economics preferred.
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Polish GAAP accounting is a plus.
