Overview

Foxglove is seeking an experienced Forward-Deployed Engineer to work with strategic customers, integrating and extending our platform while contributing to core product development.

In Short

Collaborate with customers to understand business goals and technical requirements.
Design and develop end-to-end solutions using TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python, ROS, SQL.
Draft scopes of work and success metrics for projects.
Work closely with customer engineers to ensure successful deployment.
Align with Sales and Customer Success teams for seamless customer experiences.
Provide feedback to improve product based on customer insights.
Document best practices and mentor future engineers.

Requirements

5+ years in full stack JavaScript/TypeScript development.
3+ years in Robotics or Autonomous systems.
Experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
Proven rapid prototyping and iterative delivery skills.
Front-end experience with React/TypeScript and back-end with Node.js or Python.
Knowledge of cloud architecture and database-backed REST APIs.
Ability to communicate technical details effectively.
Willingness to travel extensively for customer engagements.
