In Short

• Lead and coach multiple engineers across several teams building SaaS applications in PHP/Laravel.
• Help facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure teams are applying Agile best practices pragmatically.
• Guide architectural discussions, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions in a cloud-native (AWS) SaaS environment.
• Assist driving adoption of DevOps best practices including CI/CD, automation, observability, and reliability.
• Encourage a growth mindset through coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
• Protect team health and product quality by making tough trade-offs — including when to say “no.”
• Build and maintain a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to align priorities, set goals, and deliver customer value.
• Partner with other leaders to align on long-term engineering strategy and architecture.
• Demonstrate agency, take ownership of identifying and addressing issues and attempt to present solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in leading engineering teams.
• Strong background in SaaS development, particularly with PHP and Laravel.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, particularly AWS.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach engineers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
