In Short

• Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Guide and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, helping them grow into strong leaders and technical experts.
• Ensure reliable delivery of new features, infrastructure, and services across frontend and backend systems.
• Establish engineering best practices around code quality, testing, automation, and system reliability.
• Partner with product, design, and marketplace teams to deliver exceptional user experiences that meet customer needs.
• Make strategic tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
• Represent engineering leadership in company-wide planning, cross-functional collaboration, and executive discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• Strong background in building and scaling full-stack applications (Node.js, Typescript, React).
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in high-growth startup environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical strategy with business priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to set and drive execution of a technical vision while nurturing a healthy team culture.
