Overview

The Forest Stewards Guild is seeking a dynamic, personable, and highly collaborative professional to support the 2-3-2 Cohesive Strategy Partnership, a collaborative that brings together diverse partners to build wildfire resilience, promote ecological forest management, and advance community wildfire adaptation.

In Short

• Support the 2-3-2 Partnership in advancing collaborative natural resource management.
• Build and strengthen relationships with partners in the San Luis Valley.
• Support operational and logistical aspects of meetings and events.
• Advance partnership communications through newsletters and website maintenance.
• Participate in local collaborative efforts and create new projects.
• Represent the Partnership at public events and community gatherings.
• Manage multiple projects and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Travel required across northern NM and southern CO.
• Maintain strong communication with various stakeholders.
• Engage with diverse partners to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in natural resources, forestry, ecology, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with newsletters, websites, and partner communications.
• Flexibility and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with diverse partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel across northern NM and southern CO.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective knowledge of common software applications.
• Valid driver’s license.

• $27.46 – $29.98/hour, 36-40 hours/week.
