Overview

Follett Software is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of key events that connect our brand with customers, prospects, and internal teams.

In Short

  • Lead the planning and execution of national and regional trade shows.
  • Manage Follett Software’s annual Sales Kickoff (SKO).
  • Oversee the webinar program and customer experience events.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and event logistics.
  • Maintain the master events calendar for strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing and Sales.
  • Ensure that events reflect the company's commitment to educators.
  • Analyze post-event feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Balance high-level planning with operational execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience in event management.
  • Experience managing large event budgets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in B2B software or education-related industries is a plus.
