Events Manager - Remote

Overview

The Events Manager will play a crucial role in producing and managing events for a nonpartisan political conversation site, ensuring technology works seamlessly and maintaining order during events.

In Short

• Produce ads to publicize events.
• Manage the EventBrite page.
• Ensure technology functions properly during events.
• Handle any disruptive audience members effectively.
• Familiarity with Zoom, EventBrite, and MailChimp is required.
• Commit to 4-10 hours a week.
• Completely remote position with communication via Slack and Google Drive.
• Attend two mandatory one-hour meetings each week.
• Opportunity for hands-on experience and resume building.
• Commitment to at least two or three semesters is preferred.
