Grant Writing Intern - Remote

Overview

The Grant Writing Intern contributes to ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by completing essential tasks in the Business Development Department.

In Short

• Assist with fundraising campaigns.
• Conduct grant research and writing.
• Work closely with various directors and the COO.
• Must be comfortable in a remote work environment.
• Time management is essential.
• Flexible schedule and college credit available.
• Not a paid position.
• Expected to maintain high communication levels.
• Commit at least until April 30th, 2024.
• Opportunity to extend internship based on performance.

Requirements

• Interest or education in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Responsive and effective communicator.
• Ability to work remotely and manage own schedule.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Preferred experience with data-keeping.
• Satisfactory organizational skills.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Must attend weekly meetings.
• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
