Traveling Installation Technician - Remote

Overview

Flock Safety is seeking a Traveling Installation Technician to join our Field Operations team. This role involves installing technology solutions aimed at enhancing public safety while interacting with various customers.

In Short

• Install poles, solar panels, and cameras as per specifications.
• Work at heights and on public/private roads.
• Repair minor breaks in wiring and irrigation.
• Provide installation pictures via a mobile app.
• Perform administrative tasks related to inventory management.
• Travel approximately 90% of the time for installations.
• Meet customers and perform site surveys.
• Interpret traffic control plans for installation locations.
• Complete OSHA certification and training.
• Engage in a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Experience in fieldwork, construction, or security systems.
• Comfortable operating a bucket truck and driving work vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills and software.
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
