Installation Technician - Remote

Overview

Flock Safety is looking for an Installation Technician to join our Field Operations team. This role is vital for the success of our business, as technicians are the face of our company and interact frequently with customers while installing products that help reduce crime.

In Short

• Install poles and mount solar panels and cameras.
• Work on public and private roads, often at heights.
• Repair minor breaks in irrigation or wiring.
• Adhere to the daily schedule and complete work efficiently.
• Provide installation pictures via a mobile app.
• Perform administrative tasks like inventory management.
• Meet with customers to discuss installation options.
• Interpret traffic control plans for proper device installation.
• Travel up to 3 hours for service tickets, with occasional overnight stays.
• Work safely and professionally in various environments.

Requirements

• Frequent bending, digging, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience in construction, security systems, or similar fields.
• Comfortable driving work vehicles and operating a bucket truck.
• Handyman-like experience is preferred.
• Strong time-management and communication skills.
• Desire to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of software tools.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
