Installation Technician - Remote

Overview

Flock Safety is looking for an Installation Technician to join our Field Operations team, providing a technology solution to eliminate crime and keep communities safe.

In Short

• Install poles and mount solar panels and cameras.
• Work on public and private roads, often at heights.
• Use a bucket truck and perform minor repairs.
• Provide installation photos via a mobile app.
• Meet with customers and perform site surveys.
• Interpret traffic control plans for installations.
• Work safely and professionally in various conditions.
• Travel for service tickets, occasionally requiring overnight stays.
• Complete OSHA certification and in-field training.
• Participate in a results-oriented culture with a focus on teamwork.

Requirements

• Experience with field work, construction, or security systems.
• Comfortable operating a bucket truck and driving work vehicles.
• Prior use of power tools and heavy equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in all weather.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Desire to learn new software/tools.
• Availability M-F during daylight hours, with potential for overtime.
• Travel up to 3 hours regularly, occasionally up to 8 hours.
