Installation Technician - Remote

Overview

Tenna is seeking a dedicated Installation Technician to join our Field Services Team. In this role, you will install Tenna product trackers on mid-sized vehicles and heavy equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and consult with customers on installations as needed.

In Short

• Install Tenna product trackers on mid-sized vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Test trackers and equipment after installations.
• Train Tenna customers on best practices for hardware installation.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with Tenna’s equipment.
• Ensure installations comply with Tenna’s policies.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team for effective service delivery.
• Respond to inquiries related to product installation and management.
• Maintain knowledge of the Tenna Asset Management System.
• Process expenses and daily timekeeping.
• Work safely and efficiently at all times.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as an automotive or heavy-duty equipment mechanic.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Electrical experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a strong service orientation.
