Overview

The Senior Commission Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting FiscalNote's mission by providing detailed financial insights and strategic analysis to drive the success of the organization.

In Short

• Own monthly and quarterly variable compensation processing and validation.
• Present commission data to GTM teams and sales leaders.
• Develop ongoing standard and ad-hoc reports on commission activity.
• Analyze the cost of commissions and ensure budget alignment.
• Address queries from GTM teams regarding compensation.
• Calculate commission accruals for month-end financial close.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and communicate outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for commission payments.
• Provide insights on performance and serve as a contact for commission questions.
• Assist with revenue-related aspects leveraging financial modeling skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a compensation analytics role, preferably in SaaS.
• Experience in financial modeling within the SaaS industry.
• Advanced skills in Salesforce, Excel, and G-Suite.
• Experience with sales commission software is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
