Overview

The Senior Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration, management, and continuous improvement of FiscalNote’s global benefit programs, ensuring competitive, compliant, and cost-effective offerings for a diverse workforce.

In Short

  • Administer global benefits programs including health, dental, vision, and retirement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits brokers and vendors.
  • Manage US 401(k) plan compliance and audits.
  • Lead open enrollment planning and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with US and international benefits regulations.
  • Analyze benefits utilization and employee feedback for improvements.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HRIS teams for data accuracy.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Support M&A integration activities related to benefits.
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; CEBS certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of US benefits regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting global teams is a plus.
