We are looking for an experienced benefits support professional to manage a book of small and medium sized businesses, emphasizing strong interpersonal skills and a solid knowledge of employee benefits.

In Short

  • Function as the client account manager for your assigned book of small and medium sized businesses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with Benefits Advisor for the annual client renewal process.
  • Act as an escalation point for team members on complex issues.
  • Manage relationships between clients and carriers.
  • Ensure compliance with benefits legislation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of related work experience.
  • Valid insurance license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.
  • Good presentation skills for conducting open enrollment meetings.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork.
