Overview

The Senior Benefits Specialist – Americas supports the delivery, governance, and ongoing management of Rackspace’s benefits programs across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia, requiring strong technical expertise and sound judgment.

In Short

• Provide operational support for health, welfare, retirement, leave, and statutory benefits programs.
• Manage employee benefits inquiries and escalations through the SNOW ticketing system.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for brokers, carriers, TPAs, and vendors.
• Support annual renewals and coordinate census data.
• Review vendor invoices and claims reports for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian benefits legislation.
• Maintain compliance calendars and support audits.
• Process limited benefits transactions in Workday.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Payroll, and Finance on various HR functions.
• Identify service issues and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of dedicated benefits experience.
• Experience managing vendors and compliance activities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits legislation.
• Experience with audits and regulatory filings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within governance structures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Workday and ticketing systems.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Professional certifications preferred.
