Research Contractor - APAC Healthcare Research - Remote

Overview

The APAC Healthcare Research contractor will support coverage of healthcare industry developments across Asia-Pacific, focusing on Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The role involves tracking healthcare policy reforms and compiling public healthcare datasets.

In Short

• Monitor and summarize major healthcare policy reforms across Greater China.
• Translate healthcare policy documents from Chinese to English.
• Update and maintain monthly healthcare datasets.
• Develop charts and PowerPoint materials for research outputs.
• Draft research notes and assist in writing policy analysis reports.
• Conduct ongoing secondary research and analysis.
• Receive daily coaching and support in a collaborative team culture.
• Work approximately 30 hours per week for 6 months.
• Engage with senior corporate executives to inform their decisions.
• Gain insights into how healthcare policy affects major companies.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated research experience and ability to validate information.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare management, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of global healthcare systems is a plus.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Experience with tight deadlines in a remote work setting.
• Ability to cover a variety of topics, including new subjects.
