Overview

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with our Sales team in driving successful pre-sales engagements, delivering tailored demos, and guiding clients toward the right solutions.

In Short

  • Conduct discovery workshops and system demos with Sales Representatives.
  • Analyze client requirements and propose best-fit solutions.
  • Support RFP preparation and customize demo environments to reflect client needs.
  • Collect client information, document requirements, and produce client-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to ensure all pre-sales activities are completed before contract signature.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, scoping, and onboarding planning.
  • Lead implementation pilots and onboard customers to the First Advantage platform.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and gaps throughout the pre-sales and onboarding process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the background screening industry.

Requirements

  • Experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical solutions.
  • Experience with SaaS, HR Tech, or background screening platforms (preferred).
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving mindset.
