Compliance Director - Remote

Overview

The Compliance Director will develop and implement components of Fireblocks’ BSA, AML, and CTF Compliance Program for regulated services, ensuring compliance operations for institutional clients.

In Short

• Lead design and implementation of BSA/AML compliance program components.
• Execute compliance operations including transaction monitoring and investigations.
• Ensure timely filing of Suspicious Activity Reports.
• Report operational risks to stakeholders.
• Update AML/CTF risk classifications.
• Act as point person for regulatory inquiries.
• Provide compliance guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years in senior compliance roles with financial institutions.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML and Sanctions Compliance Programs.
• Experience in Payments, Banking, or Fintech.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Experience designing compliance controls.
• People management experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
