Risk Internship - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Risk Intern to support our team in Berlin. In this role, you will take ownership of key projects that directly contribute to our credit risk assessment and fraud prevention capabilities, while also supporting our daily operational risk management activities.

In Short

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
• Conduct regular risk reviews for key stakeholders.
• Help onboard new customers with risk assessments.
• Analyze financial and transaction data for risk trends.
• Support the development of credit risk models.
• Perform back-testing on risk models.
• Continuously improve risk assessment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience in risk management, corporate finance, credit analysis, or data analysis is ideal.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Strong foundation in financial accounting and corporate finance.
• Basic coding knowledge (Python/SQL).
• Available to work for 6 months as a full-time intern.
• Analytical mindset and ability to structure complex problems.
• Fast learner in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to give and receive feedback.
