We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager, Consumer Sciences to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and growing relationships within a select portfolio of large, United States based strategic customers in the Consumer Science business. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with these customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving new business opportunities within these key accounts. The position reports to the Global Director of Sales & Marketing, Consumer Sciences.

In Short

  • Manage revenue growth for a portfolio of large strategic accounts.
  • Act as a strategic partner to customers and proactively drive growth.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans for strategic customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.
  • Monitor account performance and analyze sales data.
  • Provide input on product development and marketing strategies.
  • Manage account budgets and revenue projections.
  • Travel as required (up to 25%).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Five (5) years of customer experience in B2B Sales.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation and closing deals.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics in consumer goods.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and ability to speak the technical language of customers.
  • Strong sales skills with a history of meeting sales targets.
