Overview

The Senior Sales Development Representative role is responsible for professionally representing Motion Industries to customers, leveraging knowledge and skills to meet their product or service needs.

In Short

  • Proactively engages with existing accounts to develop sales opportunities.
  • Works closely with decision makers to expand business volume.
  • Collaborates with customer service representatives for order tracking and technical needs.
  • Updates CRM to maintain current account follow-ups and quoting opportunities.
  • Presents Ecommerce capabilities and trains customers on tools.
  • May mentor lower-level employees.
  • Requires strong sales experience and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
  • Possesses a proactive attitude towards reaching sales goals.
  • Builds rapport and maintains strong working relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with five or more years of related sales experience.
  • Strong sales experience in outbound calls.
  • Knowledge of core sales tools such as CRM and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and identify sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with sales teams.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to deal with rejection.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented with a “Play to Win” attitude.
