Overview

The Account Specialist drives sales and generates opportunities for various types of customers, partnering with Account Representatives to deliver product knowledge.

In Short

  • Increase revenue through new business generation and account development.
  • Interact face-to-face with customers to build relationships.
  • Prepare customized quotes based on complex customer requirements.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met.
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
  • Coordinate with vendor resources to support sales efforts.
  • Work with local customers to identify and close product sales.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Industry and sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial products such as power transmission and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and best practices.
  • Ability to influence customers and maintain relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
