Gifts Officer - Remote

Fenway Health is seeking a Gifts Officer to join our mission-driven Development team and help fuel transformative programs that make a difference every day. As a Gifts Officer, you’ll develop and lead strategies to cultivate, engage, and steward a diverse portfolio of donors who share our vision of a healthier, more just world. You’ll play a key role in growing leadership-level giving and building meaningful relationships with supporters who are deeply invested in Fenway’s work. 

In Short

• Develop comprehensive strategy for individual giving program.
• Research and identify individual and major gifts prospects.
• Cultivate and manage a portfolio of individual donors.
• Conduct personal solicitations of donors and prospects.
• Provide high-touch cultivation and stewardship activities.
• Serve as liaison to the Development Committee.
• Monitor gift activity and produce regular reporting.
• Work closely with Events team to improve donor conversion.
• Maintain donor records in databases.
• Oversee production of mail appeals and collateral materials.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of fundraising experience.
• Demonstrable history of building relationships with donors.
• Knowledge of philanthropic landscape.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with diverse groups.
• Strong planning and administrative skills.
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Willingness to contribute towards anti-racist efforts.
