Feiro Marine Life Center is a nonprofit organization founded in 1981 and established as a nonprofit in 2008, dedicated to connecting the community with the marine environment through educational experiences and awareness initiatives. Located on the Port Angeles waterfront, Feiro offers visitors the opportunity to engage with the marine life of the North Olympic Peninsula. The organization is currently embarking on an ambitious project to develop the Marine Discovery Center, a public-private partnership with NOAA Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, which aims to enhance educational programming, visitor experiences, and conservation efforts. With plans to expand its facilities significantly and increase annual visitation, Feiro is poised to become a premier destination for marine education in the Pacific Northwest.
