Gifts Officer - Remote

Overview

Fenway Health is seeking a Gifts Officer to join our mission-driven Development team and help fuel transformative programs that make a difference every day. You’ll develop and lead strategies to cultivate, engage, and steward a diverse portfolio of donors who share our vision of a healthier, more just world.

In Short

• Develops a comprehensive strategy for individual giving programs.
• Researches and identifies individual and major gifts prospects.
• Cultivates prospects and manages a portfolio of individual donors.
• Conducts personal solicitations of donors and prospects.
• Provides high-touch cultivation and stewardship activities.
• Serves as liaison to the Development Committee.
• Monitors gift activity and produces regular reporting.
• Works closely with Events team to improve donor conversion.
• Maintains donor records in databases.
• Oversees production of mail appeals and collateral materials.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of fundraising experience.
• Demonstrable history of building relationships with donors.
• Knowledge of philanthropic landscape.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong planning and administrative skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups.
• Willingness to contribute towards anti-racist efforts.
