Overview

The Grants Officer at Bet Tzedek plays a crucial role in managing grant funding, proposal development, and relationship management to support the organization's mission of economic justice.

• Manage a portfolio of private and public grants.
• Oversee grant proposal development from start to finish.

• Develop knowledge of funding priorities and agency roles.
• Coordinate site visits and meetings with funders.
• Contribute to best practices in grant management.
• Represent Bet Tzedek at external events as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4 years of grant writing experience preferred.
• Experience with public/government grants highly preferred.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills required.
• Strong research and analytical abilities required.
• Knowledge of philanthropic trends in Los Angeles preferred.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills required.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends required.
