Grantmaking Program Officer - Remote

Overview

The Inatai Foundation is seeking a Grantmaking Program Officer to foster relationships with communities and advance the Foundation’s learning and grantmaking strategies.

In Short

• Full-time position focused on grantmaking and community engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with grantees and community leaders.
• Conduct research and evaluate grants in alignment with the Foundation's mission.
• Participate in strategy development and implementation for various portfolios.
• Engage in statewide travel and attend community events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and lessons learned.
• Support the Foundation’s commitment to racial justice and equity.
• Work partially remote with supervisor approval.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the Foundation's culture.
• Represent the Foundation in external meetings and events.

Requirements

• Experience in grantmaking or community engagement.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to conduct independent research.
• Commitment to racial justice and equity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel statewide as needed.
• Proficiency in data management and documentation.
• Experience in policy advocacy is a plus.
