Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

You will be working as an Engineering Manager as a part of our Technology & Engineering division, which is now composed of 75+ people in Nigeria, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey and remotely across the globe.

In Short

• Lead one of our core engineering teams during a time of fast growth.
• Report directly to the head of engineering in a business unit.
• Scale and lead globally distributed software engineering teams (Backend).
• Implement processes for high quality and timely delivery of engineering objectives.
• Manage and contribute to building scalable infrastructure.
• Focus on efficiency, quality, and velocity in engineering solutions.
• Work with a tech stack including AWS, GCP, Golang, and Ruby on Rails.
• Utilize containerized microservices architecture.
• Oversee Android and iOS application development using Kotlin and Swift.
• Implement configuration management with Terraform and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to manage distributed teams.
• Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS and GCP.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Golang and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of mobile application development.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
