Team Lead - .NET - Remote

Overview

FairMoney is a credit-led mobile banking platform for emerging markets. The company was launched in 2017, operates in Nigeria and raised close to €50m from global investors like Tiger Global, DST & Flourish Ventures. You will be working as an Engineering Manager as a part of our Technology & Engineering division, which is now composed of 75+ people in Nigeria, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey and remotely across the globe.

In Short

• Lead globally distributed software engineering teams (Backend).
• Ensure high quality and timely delivery of team engineering objectives.
• Manage and contribute to building scalable infrastructure.
• Focus on engineering solutions through efficiency, quality, and velocity.
• Work with cloud providers, primarily Azure.
• Utilize a tech stack including .NET and Go-lang.
• Implement containerized micro-service architecture.
• Use configuration management tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Manage CI/CD processes with Github Actions and ArgoCD.

Requirements

• Experience in Backend Software Engineering.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with micro-services architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in .NET and Go-lang.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
