Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

You will be working as an Engineering Manager as a part of our Technology & Engineering division, which is now composed of 75+ people in Nigeria, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey and remotely across the globe.

In Short

• Lead one of our core engineering teams at a time of fast growth.
• Report directly to the head of engineering in a business unit.
• Scale and lead globally distributed software engineering teams (Backend).
• Put processes in place to ensure high quality and timely delivery of team engineering objectives.
• Manage and contribute to building scalable infrastructure.
• Limit technical debt while looking at engineering solutions.
• Focus on efficiency, quality, and velocity in engineering.
• Work with a tech stack including Azure, .NET, Go-lang, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Github Actions and ArgoCD.
• Engage with containerized micro-service architecture.

Requirements

• Experience in Backend software engineering.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to manage distributed teams.
• Familiarity with cloud providers, particularly Azure.
• Experience with .NET and Go-lang.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
