Overview

F5 is looking for a Security Support Engineer I to help protect a portfolio of Global 2000 web applications from malicious and automated attacks, while being part of a team that aims to make the Internet a safer place for everyone.

In Short

  • Manage and support the installation of Security As A Service solutions.
  • Participate in design and implementation projects for Enterprise security solutions.
  • Act as the primary representative between customers and the company.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships regarding web security.
  • Own delivery of technical components for integration, including testing and go-live support.
  • Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams for timely technical solutions.
  • Guide consultants and engineers to ensure customer success.
  • Contribute to standardized processes for deployment efficiency.
  • Engage in active learnings for internal knowledge building.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, or related field.
  • 6 months to 2 years of system integration experience in cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of web operations and incident response.
  • Technical expertise in data center networking, CDN, and application delivery controllers.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience in configuring BIG-IP and iRules is a plus.
