Consultant I - Remote

Overview

As a Consultant I at F5, you will help protect a portfolio of Global 2000 web applications from malicious and automated attacks, while working in a collaborative environment focused on delivering security solutions.

In Short

• Lead design and implementation projects for F5's Enterprise security solutions.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers regarding web security.
• Own technical components for integration including website analysis and testing.
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver timely technical solutions.
• Help other Consultants ensure customer success.
• Contribute to standardized processes for deployment efficiency.
• Actively learn from field experiences to build internal knowledge.
• 3+ years of experience in system integration and solutions engineering.
• Experience with cybersecurity solutions and web operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in complex environments, preferably in cybersecurity.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Expertise in CI/CD, containerization, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
