Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Systems Engineer at Extreme Networks, you will engage with strategic customers in Japan to support regional revenue growth through technical presentations and demonstrations, while managing the Customer Demo Lab environment.

• Engage with customers and partners in solution presentations and demonstrations.
• Support sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
• Manage and maintain the Customer Demo Lab environment.
• Collaborate with account managers to propose technical solutions.
• Conduct training and product demonstrations.
• Provide pre-sales technical support for RFPs and solution proposals.
• Monitor and troubleshoot lab network performance.
• Implement and manage firmware upgrades across test equipment.
• Track hardware inventory and lab resource allocation.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales engineering or network consulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and cloud-managed networks.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with network simulation and testing tools.
• Vendor certifications in networking technologies preferred.
• Fluent in Japanese and proficient in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
