Senior Cost Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for completing financial worksheets and reports, conducting internal and ad hoc analyses, and maintaining a product costing system to support corporate finance.

In Short

• Analyze data and record results.
• Prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual costs.
• Conduct audits of costs and prepare reports.
• Analyze Supply Chain Cash Flow.
• Maintain the Cost Accounting System.
• Assist in month-end close of the General Ledger.
• Account for Royalties and Tariffs.
• Reconcile costs of inventories.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Independent thinking and self-direction.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting (cost accounting/public accounting/auditing preferred).
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Oracle experience is preferred.
• Ability to accurately prepare financial reports.
