Senior Cost Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Senior Cost Accountant with over 4 years of experience, a proven track record of success, and a passion for providing exceptional financial controlling services for our companies around the world.

In Short

• Oversee the quality of provided information in the procurement process, working closely with purchase requestors from other departments
• Review purchase requests from the cost initiators and transform them into purchase orders in accordance with internal policies
• Check the quality of data in invoices
• Reconcile purchase orders and bank statements on a monthly basis
• Develop and implement internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with reporting standards and legislation
• Assist with data preparation for management, financial, and tax reporting needs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a cost accountant
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS
• Experience in working with ERP systems
• Experience in working with AP automation software
• Experience in working with multiple departments across the organization
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Can-do attitude towards challenges and ability to manage routine tasks
• Willingness to find weak spots in business processes and make proposals for improvement
