Software Development Director (Payments) - Remote

Overview

The Software Development Director will lead a product-focused development team to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable Health products, utilizing modern engineering, automation, and cloud practices.

In Short

• Own roadmap execution and quality for the tribe's products.
• Drive incident reduction and SLOs in partnership with AppOps/SRE.
• Advance AWS migration and modernization pathways.
• Ensure compliance with security and access-management standards.
• Build, coach, and performance-manage engineering squads.
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate project status.
• Measure and improve engineering metrics for productivity.
• Implement effective use of engineering productivity tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience leading multi-squad engineering groups.
• 7+ years' experience in leadership roles (Product, SRE, Security).
• Expertise in cloud migration and automation for developer productivity.
• 5+ years' experience in payment processing systems.
• Hands-on experience with major payment gateway partners.
• Understanding of PCI DSS compliance requirements.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance in healthcare solutions is beneficial.
