Overview

As a Cyber Defense Lead, you will join Experian's Cyber Fusion Center, performing in-depth analysis, evaluation and response to security threats, providing global 24x7 security operations and monitoring for cybersecurity events affecting Experian.

In Short

  • Monitor daily operations of the Cyber Defense team.
  • Provide advanced support to Cyber Defense Analysts.
  • Oversee response activities for security events and alerts.
  • Analyze security events using security tooling and logging.
  • Monitor for anomalous changes in metrics and risks.
  • Complete assigned caseload throughout the incident response lifecycle.
  • Document incident updates and ensure case hand-off processes are completed.
  • Mentor Cyber Defense Analysts and provide feedback.
  • Lead development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with Cyber Threat Intelligence and content development teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of information security experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience interpreting device and application logs.
  • 1+ professional certifications in cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of the Incident Response Life Cycle and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • Understanding of common Operating Systems and Networking.
  • Experience with Security Monitoring applications and SOAR technologies.
  • Security analysis knowledge using various tools.
  • Record of improving work processes.
  • Available to work outside of normal hours for incidents.
