Lead Cyber Defense Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Cyber Defense Lead, you will join Experian's Cyber Fusion Center, performing in-depth analysis, evaluation and response to security threats. The team provides global 24x7 security operations and monitoring for cybersecurity events affecting Experian.

In Short

• Monitor daily operations of the Cyber Defense team.
• Provide advanced support for Cyber Defense Analysts.
• Oversee response activities for security events and alerts.
• Analyze events using security tooling and logging.
• Complete assigned caseload throughout the incident response lifecycle.
• Ensure documentation and case hand-off processes are completed.
• Mentor Cyber Defense Analysts and provide feedback.
• Lead the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with Cyber Threat Intelligence and content development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of information security experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Experience interpreting device and application logs.
• 1+ professional certifications in Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of the Incident Response Life Cycle and Cyber Kill Chain.
• Understanding of common Operating Systems and Networking.
• Experience with Security Monitoring applications such as SIEM.
• Experience with SOAR technologies.
• Security analysis and architecture knowledge.
• Available to work outside normal hours for incident response.
